One day no hair, the next day hair

I have been looking back at pictures of Lane...not really that old. Mostly from the fall months-September and October. He literally had no hair! And by December he was in need of his 2nd haircut! I think since I see him everyday, I didn't notice, but when we were home, I got a lot of comments that said "Lane has hair!"

When did this happen?

1 year, 5 months, 1 week, and 6 days ago I gave birth to a tiny miracle. (well he wasn't THAT tiny, but after he was out he seemed that way)

Yes, I thought it was a miracle that he grew inside of me and 9 months later was ready for the world.

But as the past 17 months have come and gone, what is even more a miracle to me is that this:

Is now this:

A bouncing toddler who stands on my couch while watching Sesame Street

and eating grapes. :sigh:

And says things like this:

It really is amazing. In 9 months he was ready for the world, but only to live in it. He needed us for the rest. And in just under double that time he's ready for a cookie. :sigh: What next?!
