You're probably thinking 'Ya'll go to a lot of baseball games.' And the truth is...we do! Especially this year, with Lane being the age that he is. It's a great way to spend an evening, kid-friendly, budget-friendly (for the most part), and just a really fun atmosphere. Lane LOVES the games with all the action going on around him. He is intrigued for hours. He loves looking at all the people, dancing to the music, and especially eating some baseball park snacks!
Last night, there was a threat of rain, that thankfully stayed away, but we had to put our coats on by the 7th inning or so because it dipped down into the low 70s, but it was still a beautiful night. But as you will notice by the looks of my um, hair, there was humidity in the air. There is no denying that!
This was him last night.....we wondered if he was feeling ok, but he perked up at times.
Not very typical of Lane, but he is getting very lovey and cuddly lately which is unusual...he was NEVER a cuddly baby. He wouldn't so much as lay his head on your shoulder, but last night that is all he wanted to do.
Trust me...I enjoyed it and he was content to lay on my chest or shoulder and watch everything around him.
And then he took a funnel cake break, a water break, and we made it on the jumbo-tron dancing to Sweeeeeeet Car-o-line....bah bah bah. It was cool! All 3 of us were dancing.
Blurry, but these were cell phone pics and I thought this one was cute.

Another rest time...with the "green monster" in the background.

Time to break out the rally caps....

Heading home before the fireworks start. It was waaaay past all of our bedtimes!

See you next year, Fluor Field.
