Parker

8lbs. 4 oz. 20 inches long
Born on a steamy September day in 2010 after a morning at Touch a Truck, a haircut for her big brother and a really long walk with Harley. Parker has been calm and gentle from the beginning. I went into labor around 10 pm and I wasn't even really sure it was real. Contractions were short and close together and after nearly not making it to the hospital in time, Parker was born at 2am. She came out hungry and squawked until she finally was in her momma's arms and eating.
She started sleeping 9 hours at night when she was 2 weeks old and often has to be reminded it's time to eat.
Her smile is contagious
and here she is at 3 days old smiling at her Nene.
She's a petite little thing and although she came into the world 2 oz. bigger than her brother, she remains very tiny.
Except for her cheeks
and her eyes! There's nothing small about those!
She was named by her Daddy, with her middle name being after my late grandmother (who was taken from us far too soon).
