Mr. Soccer

Lane started soccer a few weeks ago and today was his first game. His technique so far is to run and follow the ball, but if he gets close or it gets kicked to him he runs the other way. haha

After the game we grabbed lunch and when Matt asked him his favorite part of the game he said, "the treat!!" (Which means he liked the after-game treat the best)

Baby books

Grandma and Grandpa were in town last week (as in the week before Labor Day) and I was slow with work so I was able to catch up on the kids' baby books. When I got behind last year, I never thought I would catch up! It was stressing me out! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for occupying the kids for pretty much the whole week, I was able to do that! Sorry you had to read Pinkaliscious 427 times....a day and walk the circle while Lane road his bike 253 times...a day. :-)

I was also under a deadline because when I signed on to Shutterfly on Wednesday, photo books were 50% off until the 6th and shipping was free, so I had to finish and order by then! I had 4 books to complete...Year 1 and 2 for Parker and Year 3 and 4 for Lane.

I got pretty emotional rehashing all of those times. The kids have grownup so much and so fast in the last 2 years. I can't believe Parker is approaching her 2nd birthday!

I cannot wait to see these in person. I am still waiting for them to arrive in the mail. Lane's first 2 books turned out stunning. They are really great books and the kids love looking at them. We keep them on the bookshelf and they are always pulling them off to look at them. I usually get the 12x12 hard cover and I use the custom path so I can create my own layouts.
